Gretchen Sheirr recently began her 17th year with the Rockets and currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer, one of only two women holding this position within the entire NBA. She worked her way through the organization from an entry-level account executive to her current role, where she oversees all of the team’s ticketing and suite sales, services, and operations, as well as its business development and business strategy departments.
Gretchen is a founding board member of WISE Houston, which stands for Women in Sports and Events and was founded to help ensure a strong, female support system that was not as available when Gretchen started her career. Earlier this year, Gretchen was recognized as one of 40 under 40 by the Sports Business Journal.
Gretchen was a Scholarship Athlete and four-year letter earner at Louisiana State University where she was a diver and majored in Marketing. She is on the board of Target Hunger and a member of the Executive Women’s Partnership.
She and her husband, Ken, are the parents of twins, Jordan and Zachary.
