In her current role at Cisco as a Global Enterprise Regional Manager, Kristi Chisum leads a team of 13 account managers and 10 systems engineers. Her team is responsible for $230 million in sales annually. Kristi came to Cisco in 2010 as a Territory Account Manager after many successful years as a Systems Engineer at VMware and Hewlett Packard. She began her career in the technology industry with Reliant Energy as a Business Analyst and Database Administrator.
In 2016, Kristi was promoted to her current role and is highly recognized as a thought leader within Cisco who brings mindful, intellectual creativity and resilience to her Cisco team. She has been recognized for her active and meaningful participation in Cisco’s “Girl’s Power Tech” and Cisco’s “Women of Impact” initiatives. “Girl’s Power Tech” is an HR-driven initiative that focuses on middle school girls throughout the local public school districts. Kristi gives participants the vision of multiple career paths a girl can pursue within the “STEM” world. The program provides one-on-one mentoring with a large amount of support and encouragement to the students. Kristi also serves as the co-facilitator of “Women of Impact,” an executive roundtable of 30 women from a broad spectrum of industries.
Kristi is a dedicated community volunteer and has worked most recently with Covenant House, Candlelighters, Brazos Valley Hospice, Christus St. Patrick, and Temenos.
Kristi holds a BBA in finance from Texas A&M University and numerous industry certifications.
A native of rural Central Texas, and a long-time resident of Houston, Kristi and her husband, Kevin, have one daughter, Ella, and reside in Pearland with their loyal rescue puppy.
