Paula Whitfield is an accomplished entrepreneur, seasoned consultant, and dedicated community advocate with a remarkable journey that exemplifies resilience, determination, and unwavering faith. With a strong foundation in business, Paula earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Howard University. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to complete an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise from Louisiana State University in the summer of 2022. Paula's professional path has been marked by over two decades of experience as an multi-functional operational leader, spanning diverse industries, including automotive, oil and gas, and healthcare. Most notable was her ten-year tenure at Gulf States Toyota where her she conceptualized and implemented programming for General Managers and Dealers to improve sales and operations performance which included automated tools incorporated in dealer meetings and performance reviews. Her expertise in strategic consulting has empowered numerous organizations to navigate complex challenges and execute customized plans for success. Her ability to leverage finance, data analysis, technology, and intuitive business acumen has consistently delivered successful outcomes for her clients. In addition to her thriving consulting career, Paula embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in 2019 by becoming a Franchisee/Owner of Fastest Labs of Central Houston, a drug testing clinic located in downtown Houston. Her vision was not only to expand her business portfolio but also to create a venture that could withstand economic challenges, an idea put to the test during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic brought unprecedented challenges, yet Paula remained steadfast. She successfully navigated the complexes of launching a new business during the pandemic era, adapting to evolving health protocols and managing the stress of rising cases, unemployment, and business closures. Her resilience and determination culminated in the successful launch of her franchise on May 4, 2020, and she is currently opening her second location in Fall 2023. Even with all the challenges she was awarded for top franchisee sales in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Beyond her professional endeavors, Paula is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She serves as an Advisory Member of Harvest Point Fellowship Church and plays a pivotal role as a Steering Committee Member for the IMpower Program with Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston. Her community involvement extends to the executive leadership team for the March of Dimes, March for Babies, where she actively raises awareness and funds for women's health. She is happily married to an ever-loving, highly supportive husband, and the marriage is blessed with two children: Robby and Myles. Paula's life story is a testament to resilience, faith, family, and service. Her unwavering dedication to her professional pursuits, community, and family shows she has a strong belief in making a positive impact on the world.
