Pamela Hernandez, Ph.D. is principal researcher and founder of Educo Research, a research firm that builds human capacity and social change through research. Educo Research builds, conducts, analyzes, and reports research, and creates strategic research plans with organizations to support organizational priorities. Dr. Hernandez is a first-generation immigrant, college-graduate, and the first in her family to achieve a Ph.D. She was raised in Houston, TX, and pursued higher education and work opportunities across the U.S. Dr. Hernandez has fifteen years of professional experience in public and private higher education institutions, and with various agencies across the U.S. in fields such as education, housing, mental health and well-being equity research, program assessment and evaluation, as well as student leadership development, multiculturalism, diversity, and social justice training. She has served on several boards, including the Greater Northside Chamber of Commerce, the New Leaders Council-Houston, and the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business. She has also advocated at the Texas state level for school funding through, and has published peer-reviewed articles on research projects.
