About the Speaker:
Kristi Hemmer is President-of her own company and after 20 years as an educator (including eight years in Houston), she started her own school-Academy for Women’s Empowerment. Kristi published Quit Being So Good: Stories of an Unapologetic Woman on International Women’s Day, 2021.
Her MOXIEmission is to put more women in power, because when women lead retention, morale, innovation, engagement, revenue, and belonging go up. When women are in power, the world is a safer and more equitable space for all.
Kristi has influenced thousands around the world to take up space, unapologetically. Now she wonders, What would be different if YOU took up space, unapologetically? Find out this May.
Kristi earned her M.Ed. in counseling from University of Houston in 2000. She taught in Alief ISD for five years and St Francis Episcopal Day School for three years from 1992-2000. She was also a Court Advocate and Juvenile Delinquent mentor in Houston, completed her internship at the Houston Area Women’s Center and while living in Houston, Krisi was active in the writing community.
